📐 Setup

Place balls in the middle of a circle and position one or two small goals 6 to 10 yards away. Players jog, skip, or dance around the outside of the circle until the music stops.

📋 How to Run It

  1. 1Start the music and have players move around the circle without touching the balls.
  2. 2When the music stops, each player races to the nearest free ball and attacks a goal.
  3. 3After the shot, players collect the ball, return it to the middle, and rejoin the circle.
  4. 4Change the movement pattern between rounds with side shuffles, hops, or toe taps in place.
  5. 5Award points for goals, but keep the mood light so the game stays fun for the whole party.

💡 Coaching Tips

  • Space the goals and balls so collisions do not happen when the music stops.
  • Encourage quick set-up touches before the shot rather than wild swings.
  • Use several smaller groups if the party is large.
  • A short reset between songs keeps the excitement high and the instructions clear.

🔄 Variations

  • Easier: let players shoot at empty goals from a closer distance.
  • Harder: require the first touch to move around a cone before finishing.
  • Team version: count all goals scored by a birthday team within a time limit.
